All air carriers that operate scheduled or non-scheduled air services in and out of Guyana must regularly submit air transport statistics as part of the Authority’s statistics programme.

The submission of air transport statistics is necessary so that the Authority may monitor the growth and development of Guyana’s aviation sector.  This helps us to inform, develop and monitor aviation policy.

All airlines and operators must submit their air transport data to the Authority using our Air Transport Reporting (ATR) forms.  These ATR forms were designed to facilitate the easy transmission of statistics to the Authority.

The ATR forms were developed using MS Excel so as to be used to submit data electronically.  Electronic copies of the various ATR forms can be obtained from the GCAA website at or by contacting the Air Transport Management Directorate directly.

The completed forms must be submitted to the Authority by email to [email protected].

You should observe the following points when entering data on the electronic forms:

  • Do not attempt any modifications to the structure of the forms by inserting or deleting rows or columns;
  • Use only the ATR forms which are available online to submit data;
  • Enter numerical values as numbers, not text;
  • Do not use 1000 comma separator when entering numerical values;
  • Each form has a specific file naming convention, please observe the conventions stated in the form instructions available online.

The ATR forms which must be completed and submitted by airlines and operators cover traffic data, capacity data, operational data, fleet and personnel data, financial data, and fuel consumption data.

The ATR forms must be submitted by Guyana-based commercial air carriers and foreign air carriers.  These forms are also required to be submitted by airports, en-route facilities and services operators and the state civil aviation body.  Appropriate guidance materials as well as the forms are available online on the GCAA website.
