Dear Colleagues,

The year 2018 is here and let me take this opportunity to first of all thank God for sparing our lives to see the New Year thus far and also to expess New Year Greetings to you and your family.

You will agree with me that the journey to the good life continues: However, for us to enjoy this good life we all must work together to improve the following; Cohesion, Cooperation and Communication.

Let us recommit ourselves to our shared values, as we work towards the diversity that makes us strong. Hundreds of thousands of people – of every background, origin, culture, and faith – have come together to make Guyana the diverse, open, and thriving country it is today, since the Coalition Government took office in 2015.

Since we as a government assumed office in 2015, we have worked hard to develop a great part of the infrastructure of our country by building better roads, bridges, installing streets lights in places that have never seen lights for years. Provided Drainage and Irrigation, Pedestrian Walkways and a number of other projects to communities. It is because of you, our mighty army of Technicians, Directors, Administrators, Custodians, Drivers and Contractors have shine the light that will lead us, into the work that is ahead of us for our beloved country Guyana.

But we still have a lot to accomplish in 2018. Let’s continue to make Cohesion, Cooperation and Communication the values that unite us. Let’s move forward together, put those values into practice, and work to build a better future for all Guyanese.
